At this time, the only buy/trade we do is in person in the store.

Here are the common questions and answers regarding our trade/buy policy:

• What games do you trade/buy for?

  We currently trade/buy singles primarily for Magic the Gathering. We do very limited buy/trade for all the other CCGs we carry.

• How do you price collections?

  First, we have a want list. If you have a card on our want list, we'll pay approximately 25% of our sell price for each copy of that card that we want. Sometimes we are looking for one of a card, sometimes more. For example, if we are selling Supratog for $15.00 and it is on our want list and we need 3 of them, we'll pay $5.00 each for up to 3 Supratogs.

  For cards not on our want list, we may pay somewhere around 10-50% of book value. It really depends on if we need/want the cards. For example if we have 100 Killatogs in stock and Scrye lists them at $10.00 but they are not in Type 2, then you are pretty much guaranteed we won't even offer a nickel for another one!

  Please note that we are a retail store. We have to pay our rent and we have to pay our employees. Our trades and purchases have to be worth our time and it costs us money. You will always get a better deal if you go to ebay, or if you find another individual.

• Can you post or email me that Magic want list?

  Sorry, it is only available for walkin customers in the store. It changes too frequently to publish on our web site. It is a service we provide to in-store players and we would end up disappointing you more often, because you'd look at an older want list and want to sell us something we no longer need...
  
  

• Why is your buy price so low?

  Actually, it is quite good compared to many other stores. Many stores purchase cards for .10 or less a rare regardless of the card. Our prices are very fair if you are going to a store, but note that you will always get more if you trade/sell to individuals instead. You might find other stores with better deals, and that is great if you do.

• Do you do even trades?

  We do not. For cards on our want list, we usually trade for no more then 50% of book value. For example, if you have a Deluxatog to trade and we currently sell the Deluxatog for $10.00, we'll give you $5.00 in trade value for it if it is on our want list.

  If you are looking for even trades or trying to get book value for your cards, then you'll want to try to do this yourself on the net.

  If you want to trade, send us a list of the cards you have to trade and cards you are looking for. We'll give you a proposal.

• Do you buy collections?

  Yes! You need to bring in your collection. The better sorted it is, the easier it will be for us to give you a quote.
